11 April 2021 – Cast all your care upon God

1 Peter 5:7 declares “Casting all your care upon him, because he cares for you.”

God does not want you to go through life worrying. He wants you to cast your cares, worries, and concerns on Him. Depend on God who will provide for you.

We need to constantly remind ourselves that God is greater than any circumstance we face. He will deliver us and show us the way out of trails and adversity if we look at Him.

“When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.” That’s what God wants to do in your life. He wants to take the destruction – He wants to take the bitter in your life and turn it into something sweet.

Psalm 55:22 (ERV)” Give your worries to the Lord, and he will care for you. He will never let those who are good be defeated.

Tell God exactly what your burdens are. Cry out in prayer-out loud. Psalm 70:1 (NLT) Please, God, rescue me! Come quickly, Lord, and help me.”

Psalm 6:1-4 (NLT) “ Save me, O God, for the floodwaters are up to my neck. 2 Deeper and deeper I sink into the mire; I can’t find a foothold. I am in deep water, and the floods overwhelm me. 3 I am exhausted from crying for help; my throat is parched. My eyes are swollen with weeping, waiting for my God to help me. 4 Those who hate me without cause outnumber the hairs on my head. Many enemies try to destroy me with lies, demanding that I give back what I didn’t steal.

Stand on the promises of God. – Proverbs 4:20-23 (NLT) My child, pay attention to what I say. Listen carefully to my words. 21 Don’t lose sight of them. Let them penetrate deep into your heart, 22 for they bring life to those who find them, and healing to their whole body. 23 Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.”

Our adversary hates worship. There is nothing as effective at keeping your enemy at bay than to worship. Psalm 95:1-2 (NLT) Come, let us sing to the Lord! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. 2 Let us come to him with thanksgiving. Let us sing psalms of praise to him.”

Psalm 37:4 (ESV) “Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.”

Surround yourself with wise people – Proverbs 11:14 (AMP) “Where there is no [wise, intelligent] guidance, the people fall [and go off course like a ship without a helm], But in the abundance of [wise and godly] counselors there is victory.”

I would like to conclude with Romans 8:37 “But in all these troubles we have complete victory through God, who has shown his love for us.”

Have wonderful day.
