We don’t need a telescope, microscope, or horoscope to realise the fullness of Christ
Colossians 2:9-10(MSG) Everything of God gets expressed in him, so you can see and hear him clearly. You don’t need a telescope, a microscope, or a horoscope to realize the fullness of Christ, and the emptiness of the universe without him. When you come to him, that fullness comes together for you, too. His power extends over everything.
Thus, everything of God gets expressed in Christ, so we can see and hear him clearly. Colossians 1:15(NLT) Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,
The use of a telescope, microscope, and horoscope represents human attempts to gain knowledge and understanding about the physical world. These tools are used to explore the vastness of the universe, study microscopic details, and seek insights into personality traits.
However, despite the value and utility of these tools in their respective domains, they are not necessary for recognising the significance of Christ and the emptiness that is perceived without Him. It implies that the true realisation of the fullness of Christ, referring to His divine nature and the fulfilment He brings, does not rely on external instruments.
The recognition of Christ’s fullness and the emptiness without Him can only be understood through relationship, faith, and spiritual experiences. It implies that the significance of Christ surpasses the physical and material aspects of the universe, offering a deeper understanding of life, purpose, and meaning.
Colossians 2:2-3(NLT) I want them to be encouraged and knit together by strong ties of love. I want them to have complete confidence that they understand God’s mysterious plan, which is Christ himself. In him lie hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
When we come to Jesus, we can experience the fullness and completeness that He offers. Through a relationship with Him, we can access His power, which extends over everything. Ephesians 3:20-21(NLT) Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.
I conclude with Philippians 4:13(NKJV) I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
