Faith that moves mountains: Matthew 17:20(NIV) He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
The problem with a lot of people is that they place too much focus on their mountain instead of placing their focus on God, the mountain mover. Place your faith in the mountain mover.
Hebrews 11:1(AMPC) Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].
Faith is knowing what your vision is.
Proverbs 29:18(MSG) If people can’t see what God is doing, they stumble all over themselves; But when they attend to what he reveals, they are most blessed.
Habakkuk 2:2-3(MSG) And then God answered: “Write this. Write what you see. Write it out in big block letters so that it can be read on the run. This vision-message is a witness pointing to what’s coming. It aches for the coming – it can hardly wait! And it doesn’t lie. If it seems slow in coming, wait. It’s on its way. It will come right on time.”
You must plan to achieve your vision. Proverbs 24:6(MSG) Strategic planning is the key to warfare; to win, you need a lot of good counsel.
Proverbs 24:3-4(TLB) A successful enterprise is BUILT by WISE PLANNING, becomes STRONG by common sense, and PROFITS wonderfully by keeping abreast of FACTS.
In achieving your vision, you may sometimes get tired and want to throw in the towel. As a child of God, you have to keep believing in your vision.
Hebrews 10:36-37(MSG) But you need to stick it out, staying with God’s plan so you’ll be there for the promised completion. It won’t be long now, he’s on the way; he’ll show up most any minute.
Faith without risk, is not faith at all. Luke 19:26(MSG) “He said, ‘That’s what I mean: Risk your life and get more than you ever dreamed of. Play it safe and end up holding the bag.”
