The new thing God is about to do, is to make a way in the wilderness, streams in the desert. Just because God did something in the past, doesn’t mean He will do the same thing again or in the same way.
Isaiah 43:19a(NIV) “. . See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?”
Wait on God – Psalm 25:4-5a(NIV) says: Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me.
Keep trusting Him – Psalm 25:10a(NIV) reads: All the ways of the Lord are loving and faithful.
Here are some indicators that God is doing, or is about to do a new thing in your life:
- God will confirm His Word – Psalm 37:23-24(NLT) The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand.
- You have a desire that God will do a new thing – Psalms 20:4(BSB) May He give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.
- God leads you in a new direction – Psalm 37:23(KJV) The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way.
Isaiah 43:19(AMP) Listen carefully, I am about to do a new thing, now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it?
Haggai 2:3-5(NLT) Does anyone remember this house – this Temple – in its former splendour? How, in comparison, does it look to you now? It must seem like nothing at all! But now the Lord says: Be strong, all you people still left in the land. And now get to work, for I am with you, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. My Spirit remains among you, just as I promised when you came out of Egypt. So do not be afraid.’ “For this is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: In just a little while I will again shake the heavens and the earth, the oceans and the dry land.
