To make this the best year, you must take what God has given you. Ownership can only be fulfilled once it is used for its intended purpose. We must act; things don’t just happen.
Joshua 1:3a (Voice) I will give you every place you walk, wherever your feet touch,
God told Israel the promised land was theirs. Yet it was possessed by others. God had given them the land, but they had to go in and take it. God would enable them to take possession if they would only cooperate by believing Him. Yet they focused on the seemingly impossible circumstances and took their eyes off God’s promise.
Deuteronomy 11:24a (NLT) Wherever you set foot, that land will be yours.
James 1:22a (Voice) Put the word into action.
John 13:17 (NLT) Now that you know these things, God will bless you for doing them.
Ezra 10:4 (NLT) Get up, for it is your duty to tell us how to proceed in setting things straight. We are behind you, so be strong and take action.”
2 Corinthians 3:18 (AMPC) And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit.
James 1:22 (NLT) But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.
Action is all about execution. “A strategy, even a great one, doesn’t implement itself.” — Sir Winston Churchill
The primary reason and the root cause that holds people back from achieving their God-given purpose and unleashing their greatness is poor execution.
Execution is the most significant differentiator there is; it’s the reason why people fail or succeed in achieving their goals.
Do you want this year to be the best? Decide that it will be the best, proclaim it, frame it, own it and act on it.
