What do we do when we “put everything into the hands of God”? We entrust our situation to the Lord. We express our wholehearted trust in God.
Isaiah 41:13 (NIV) For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.
Psalm 139:10 (ESV) even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me.
2 Corinthians 1:9(extract) (TLB) for then we put everything into the hands of God.
Hebrews 4:3a (TLB) For only we who believe God can enter into His place of rest.
To put everything in the hands of God shows God that we put our trust in Him. God loves it when we trust Him with our whole heart.
Proverbs 3:5-6 (AMP) Trust in and rely confidently on the LORD with all your heart and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, And He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way].
Isaiah 41:9-10 (NLT) I have called you back from the ends of the earth, saying, ‘You are my servant.’ For I have chosen you and will not throw you away. Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.
Leave everything in God’s hands and eventually you’ll see God’s hand in everything.
Habakkuk 3:4 (AMP) His brightness is like the sunlight; He has [bright] rays flashing from His hand, And there [in the sunlike splendor] is the hiding place of His power.
Psalm 31:5 (NET) Into your hand I entrust my life; you will rescue me, O LORD, the faithful God.
John 10:28-29 (AMP) And I give them eternal life, and they will never, ever [by any means] perish; and no one will ever snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater and mightier than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.
Once you put your life in God’s hands, nobody can snatch you out of those hands. Every aspect of your life is in His hands. You can trust Him today and forever.
