21 April 2023 – Life can be challenging, but God is with you

Life may be challenging, but I’ve got a tougher God. Life is hard. For some, it’s impossible. God never promised it would be easy, but He promised to always be with us. He will never leave nor forsake us.

Joshua 1:9 (NLT) This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”

Deuteronomy 31:6 (NLT) So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the LORD your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.”

Isaiah 46:4 (NLT) I will be your God throughout your lifetime— until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you.

Isaiah 41:10 (NLT) Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.

“God is taking care of you, even when it seems like you’re all alone; believe me, God is working hard behind the scenes of your life.” – Anonymous

God uses trials and challenges to sanctify us, that we may become mature and complete.

James 1:4 (NIV) Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

Romans 5:3-5 (NLT) We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.

Hard times is a way for us to grow stronger in our walk with the Lord. All people will experience hard times in this life, but as believers, we have hope for the future.

2 Corinthians 4:17-18 (NLT) For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.

Whatever you may be going through, there’s no safer place to be than in the hands of God.
