- Praise will silence Satan. Psalm 8:2(NIV) Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.

2 Chronicles 20:21-23(MSG) After talking it over with the people, Jehoshaphat appointed a choir for GOD; dressed in holy robes, they were to march ahead of the troops, singing, Give thanks to GOD, His love never quits. As soon as they started shouting and praising, GOD set ambushes against the men of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir as they were attacking Judah, and they all ended up dead. The Ammonites and Moabites mistakenly attacked those from Mount Seir and massacred them. Then, further confused, they went at each other, and all ended up killed.
Acts 16:25-26(AMPC) But about midnight, as Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns of praise to God, and the [other] prisoners were listening to them, Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the very foundations of the prison were shaken; and at once all the doors were opened and everyone’s shackles were unfastened.
- Praise takes our focus off ourselves and back on God. Psalm 150:2(NASB) Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness!
- Praise brings us to a place of humility. We remember our dependency on God, as we acknowledge our need for Him. As we praise Him as Creator and King of this world, we admit and recognize that we’re not in control, but He is. He is above all. Psa. 95:2-3(ESV) Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.

Psalm 18:3 (KJV) I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from mine enemies. - Praise leaves no room for complaining and negativity. Psalm 103:2-4(ESV) Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy.
- Praise makes room for God’s blessings over our lives. He will not hold back His goodness; praise opens the gateway of blessing as we come into the Presence of our King.

Our spirits are refreshed and renewed in His presence – Psalm 16:11(ESV) . . .in Your presence, there is fullness of joy.
Finally, praise paves the way for God’s power to be displayed, for miracles to happen.
