27 February 2023 – He will not allow your work to be destroyed

Malachi 3:11 (AMP) “Then I will rebuke the devourer (insects, plague) for your sake and he will not destroy the fruits of the ground, nor will your vine in the field drop its grapes [before harvest],” says the LORD of hosts.

He will not allow your work to be destroyed. This refers to a hedge of financial protection. A common strategy of the enemy is to attack the harvest of God’s children.

Judges 6:3-4 (AMP) For it was whenever Israel had sown [their seed] that the Midianites would come up with the Amalekites and the people of the east and go up against them. So they would camp against them and destroy the crops of the land as far as Gaza, and leave no sustenance in Israel as well as no sheep, ox, or donkey.

The enemy’s job is to steal and destroy, but God came to give us life and abundance. God does not promise that we will not go through difficult times, but He promises us that He will see us through.

John 10:10 (AMPC) The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].

John 10:28-30 (NLT) I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me, for my Father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else. No one can snatch them from the Father’s hand. The Father and I are one.

Job 1:10 (NLT) You have always put a wall of protection around him and his home and his property. You have made him prosper in everything he does. Look how rich he is!

Giving always releases God’s blessings in our lives.

Deuteronomy 15:10 (NIV) Give generously to them and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the LORD your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to.

Luke 12:48 (NLT) But someone who does not know, and then does something wrong, will be punished only lightly. When someone has been given much, much will be required in return; and when someone has been entrusted with much, even more will be required.

Proverbs 10:22 (NLT) The blessing of the Lord makes a person rich, and he adds no sorrow with it.

Psalm 84:10-12 (NLT) A single day in your court is better than a thousand anywhere else! I would rather be a gatekeeper in the house of my God than live the good life in the homes of the wicked. For the LORD God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The LORD will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right. O LORD of Heaven’s Armies, what joy for those who trust in you.
