When Sarah and Abraham doubted God’s promise to give them a son, God said, in Genesis 18:14 “Is anything too hard for the Lord?
When God displayed his absolute sovereignty to Job in his distress, Job replied in Job 42:2 “I know that you can do all things”
Nothing is impossible with God. Nothing is too hard for the Lord. All things are possible for God. God can do anything! Maybe you are at a situation that seems impossible to you. You don’t know what to do. Invite God into your impossibility. Your impossibility is God’s possibility. Jesus declares that everything is possible for God, Mark 14:36 “Abba, Father,” he said, “everything is possible for you.”
Mark 9:23 (KJV) “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
Matthew 19:26 (KJV) “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Mark 10:27 (KJV) “With men it is impossible, but not with God.”
Luke 1:37 (KJV) “With God nothing will be impossible.”
Luke 18:27 (KJV) “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”
Jeremiah 32:17 (ESV) “Ah, Lord God! It is you who have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you.”
What is impossible to man, is possible for God. God created man to always be dependent on Him. God takes pleasure in doing the impossible. There is no situation God cannot handle. Impossibilities are the platforms upon which God does His best work.
George Muller once said, “Faith does not operate in the realm of the possible. There is no glory for God in that which is humanly possible. Faith begins where man’s power ends.”
Exodus 14:13-14 “Do not be afraid. Stand firm. And you will see the deliverance of the Lord. The Lord will fight for you while you keep silent.”
Today, no matter what challenge you’re encountering, do not be afraid, stand firm and go forward. Trust God. God will guide you continually. Don’t be anxious about anything. God is your strength and power. God promised to “repay two blessings for each of your troubles.”
Zechariah 9:12 (NLT) “Come back to the place of safety, all you prisoners who still have hope! I promise this very day that I will repay two blessings for each of your troubles.”
