In His Word, God promises us that if you seek God with all your heart, then you will find Him. If you seek to know God in real and personal ways with all of your heart, then you will get to know God by Him revealing Himself to us.
2 Chronicles 15:2b(NLT) Whenever you seek him, you will find him. But if you abandon him, he will abandon you.
Psalm 10:4(MSG) The wicked are too proud to seek God. They seem to think that God is dead.
Jeremiah 29:12-14(NLT) “In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. I will be found by you,” says the Lord.
Deuteronomy 4:29(NIV) But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul.
Psalm 145:18-19(NIV) The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them.
Seek, and then you will find God. Draw near to God, and then He will draw near to you. Ask, and then you will receive. Knock, and then the doors will open up for you. Seek after God, and then you will find Him. The more you seek after God, the more you will find about Him, His character and the deeper and stronger your personal relationship with Him will become.
Psalm 14:2(NLT) The Lord looks down from heaven on the entire human race; he looks to see if anyone is truly wise, if anyone seeks God.
Isaiah 64:7(NLT) Yet no one calls on your name or pleads with you for mercy. Therefore, you have turned away from us and turned us over to our sins.
To think that this all-powerful God is looking down on this earth from His heavenly throne to try and find people who are willing to seek after Him. God the Father is giving every single one of us an open invitation to come in and make some kind of attempt to seek after Him.
James 4:8a(NKJV) Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.
The message comes through loud and clear. God is looking for intense seekers who are willing to seek after Him with all of their heart and with all of their soul.
That is how we are to seek after God so we can establish and enter into and built and maximise this intense personal relationship with God.
