Worship does not have to be words spoken, rather a devoting and surrendering of yourself in the presence of the Living God communing with Him as He sees fit.
Worship is our highest glory to God. We were created to worship God. Worship is the greatest expression of the followship with God. It is where we can express our followship with the Lord. Worship is presenting your whole being to God.
What is the will of God?
1 Thessalonians 4:3(ESV) For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immorality.
Here we have a very specific instance of what God commands us: holiness, sanctification, sexual purity. This is His will of command. But, oh, so many do not obey.
2 Peter 3:9(ESV) The Lord is not slow to fulfil his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.
1 Thessalonians 5:18(ESV) give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
1 Peter 2:15(NKJV) For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men –
Ephesians 5:17-20(MSG) Don’t live carelessly, unthinkingly. Make sure you understand what the Master wants. Don’t drink too much wine. That cheapens your life. Drink the Spirit of God, huge drafts of him. Sing hymns instead of drinking songs! Sing songs from your heart to Christ. Sing praises over everything, any excuse for a song to God the Father in the name of our Master, Jesus Christ.
We often want to know God’s hidden will for the future, while walking contrary to His revealed will in the present.
Jeremiah 29:11(ESV) For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
