My future is in God’s hands
Psalm 31:14-15(NLT) states: But I am trusting you, O LORD, saying, ‘You are my God!’ My future is in your hands. Rescue me from those who hunt me down relentlessly.
What an incredible verse! My future is in your hands. Take a moment to ponder this; there is no safer place than in the hands of God. He is telling you today that your future rests in His hands. What a profound declaration: My future is in your hands.
David expresses: God, I trust You. My future is in Your hands. So, stop worrying about tomorrow; your future is entrusted to God’s care. What God has ordained will undoubtedly come to fruition.
Psalm 16:5(GNT) emphasizes: You, LORD, are all I have, and you give me all I need; my future is in your hands.
Rest assured your future is secure in God’s hands. It is not subject to the whims of your adversaries; rather, it is under the firm grasp of God’s mighty and supportive hands. Regardless of the current circumstances, believe that God will ultimately turn everything in your favour.
Isaiah 41:10(NLT) reassures: Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.
Psalm 31:19-20(NLT) celebrates: How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear you. You lavish it on those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world. You hide them in the shelter of your presence, safe from those who conspire against them. You shelter them in your presence, far from accusing tongues.
In closing, Psalm 31:14-18, as conveyed in the Message translation: Desperate, I throw myself on you: you are my God! Hour by hour I place my days in your hand, safe from the hands out to get me. Warm me, your servant, with a smile; save me because you love me. Don’t embarrass me by not showing up; I’ve given you plenty of notice. Embarrass the wicked, stand them up, leave them stupidly shaking their heads as they drift down to hell. Gag those loudmouthed liars who heckle me, your follower, with jeers and catcalls. 29
