Genesis 12:2 (ESV) “And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing.”

2 Corinthians 9:11 (ESV) “You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God.”

2 Corinthians 9:11 (MSG) He gives you something you can then give away, which grows into full-formed lives, robust in God, wealthy in every way, so that you can be generous in every way, producing with us great praise to God.”

God gives you something so that you can be a blessing to others. In this way we are glorifying God.

Ezekiel 22:30 (NKJV) “So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one.”
