7 November 2023 – God will turn everything around

Jeremiah 30:3(MSG) “‘Look. The time is coming when I will turn everything around for my people, both Israel and Judah. I, GOD, say so. I’ll bring them back to the land I gave their ancestors, and they’ll take up ownership again.’”

How does your situation look like now?

Jeremiah 30:5-7(MSG) “‘Cries of panic are being heard. The peace has been shattered. Ask around! Look around! Can men bear babies? So why do I see all these he-men holding their bellies like women in labor, Faces contorted, pale as death? The blackest of days, no day like it ever! A time of deep trouble for Jacob – but he’ll come out of it alive.

Psalm 142:3-7(MSG) “As I sink in despair, my spirit ebbing away, you know how I’m feeling, Know the danger I’m in, the traps hidden in my path. Look right, look left – there’s not a soul who cares what happens! I’m up against the wall, with no exit – it’s just me, all alone. I cry out, GOD, call out: ‘You’re my last chance, my only hope for life!’ Oh listen, please listen; I’ve never been this low. Rescue me from those who are hunting me down; I’m no match for them. Get me out of this dungeon so I can thank you in public. Your people will form a circle around me and you’ll bring me showers of blessing!”

God wants to turn everything around.

Psalm 126(NKJV) When the Lord brought back the captivity of Zion, We were like those who dream. Then our mouth was filled with laughter, And our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, “The LORD has done great things for them.” The LORD has done great things for us, And we are glad. Bring back our captivity, O LORD, As the streams in the South. Those who sow in tears Shall reap in joy. He who continually goes forth weeping, Bearing seed for sowing, Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, Bringing his sheaves with him.

Song of Solomon 2:11-12(AMPC) “For, behold, the winter is past; the rain is over and gone. 12 The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing [of birds] has come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land.”

Romans 4:5(MSG) But if you see that the job is too big for you, that it’s something only God can do, and you trust him to do it – you could never do it for yourself no matter how hard and long you worked – well, that trusting-him-to-do-it is what gets you set right with God, by God. Sheer gift.

Hebrews 4:16(TLB) “So let us come boldly to the very throne of God and stay there to receive his mercy and to find grace to help us in our times of need.”

Hebrews 13:6(NKJV) “So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”
