2 Corinthians 6:16&18 (NLT) And what union can there be between God’s temple and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God said: “I will live in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they will be my people.
And I will be your Father, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the LORD Almighty.
Your family is God’s own family. That is why the Lord says, He will be our father, and we will be his sons and daughters. Whose family does God bless?
Psalm 112:1-3 (NLT) Praise the LORD! How joyful are those who fear the LORD and delight in obeying his commands. Their children will be successful everywhere; an entire generation of godly people will be blessed. They themselves will be wealthy, and their good deeds will last forever.
The family who obeys the Word of the Lord receives the wealth, and the blessings will remain upon them.
God desires your entire family to come under His blessing and protection. Many times, in the Bible, we see God’s heart is to save entire families from destruction and ruin.
Genesis 7:1 (NASB) Then the LORD said to Noah, “Enter the ark, you and all your household, for you alone I have seen to be righteous . . .”
Acts 16:29-34 (NKJV) Then he called for a light, ran in, and fell down trembling before Paul and Silas. And he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house. And he took them the same hour of the night and washed their stripes. And immediately he and all his family were baptized. Now when he had brought them into his house, he set food before them; and he rejoiced, having believed in God with all his household.
Put everything in Jesus’ hands and see all His abundant blessings come upon your household.
Psalm 128:1-4 (NKJV) Blessed is every one who fears the LORD, Who walks in His ways. When you eat the labor of your hands, You shall be happy, and it shall be well with you. Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine in the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table. Behold, thus shall the man be blessed Who fears the LORD.
