8 November 2023 – Today is your day

Psalm 2:7-9(MSG) “Let me tell you what God said next. He said, “You’re my son, And today is your birthday. What do you want? Name it: Nations as a present? continents as a prize? You can command them all to dance for you, Or throw them out with tomorrow’s trash.”

Isaiah 60:1-2(AMPC) Arise [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you – rise to a new life]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you! For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and dense darkness [all] peoples, but the Lord shall arise upon you, [o Jerusalem] and His glory shall be seen on you.”

Arise and shine, means to proclaim the good over the bad, to make good. Whatever negative situation you experience, proclaim the good over it.

Matthew 10:27(AMP) What I say to you in the dark (privately), tell in the light (publicly); and what you hear whispered in your ear, proclaim from the housetops [to many people].

Luke 4:18(AMP) The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me (the Messiah), because He has anointed Me to preach the good news to the poor. He has sent Me to announce release (pardon, forgiveness) to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free those who are oppressed (downtrodden, bruised, crushed by tragedy),

Isaiah 61:1(NLT) “The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is upon me, for the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed.

Proclaim – it is time for God’s change in my life. God’s provision will flow like milk and honey. God’s provision will come in double portions. A mighty breakthrough will shake my house. Every yoke will be destroyed in the anointing power of God’s presence. My house will be restored. God will be the focal point of my home. It will have such an impact that it will positively influence my household. I will listen in obedience to God’s voice, act upon it and thus fulfilling God’s purpose in my life.

Praise is not the inevitable by-product that comes when everything is going right in my life; it is the driving force. Praise will get my focus where it needs to be – on God. I will praise God in the midst of my problems; therefore, my problems will shrink so much that I will hardly remember to bring them to God! I’ll be so busy praising Him and thanking Him for His blessings that my problems will be an afterthought.

God is raising me to higher levels. I will move closer to God, for I will devote myself to God.

The Lord who began this good work will fulfil His purpose in my life.

I proclaim it, believe it, and enter into it.
