God is my Hiding place

Psalm 32:7 (NASB) “You are my hiding place; You preserve me from trouble; You surround me with songs of deliverance.”

God is a safe hiding place – Isaiah 32:2 (ESV) ”Each will be like a hiding place from the wind, a shelter from the storm, like streams of water in a dry place, like the shade of a great rock in a weary land.”

Psalm 31:20 (ESV) “In the cover of your presence you hide them from the plots of men; you store them in your shelter from the strife of tongues.”

God is a sure hiding place. God will conceal, hide us and place us on a high rock. – Psalm 27:5 (NLT) “For he will conceal me there when troubles come; he will hide me in his sanctuary. He will place me out of reach on a high rock.”

God is our secret hiding place – Psalm 32:7 (NKJV) “You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance.”

God is a strong hiding place – the Most High who is the Shelterer. – Psalm 91:1 ESV – 1” He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.”

God is a secure hiding place – He assures us in His Word what He is, hence our security.- Psalm119:114 (ESV)”You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in your word.”

Jon and Tim Neufeld wrote the following song: In the shadows I can hear Your voice singing to me. In the valley I can hear Your heart reaching for me now. And I weep flooded with the strength of Your peace. You’re my defender the shield of my heart. You are my hiding place. When terror surrounds me. You keep me from harm. You are my hiding place. In the darkness. I can feel Your light wrap around me. In my suffering I can feel Your joy rising in me now. And I weep flooded with the strength of Your peace. Here before You Jesus in this place. Here before You now face to face.

Psalm 27:4-6 (NLT) “The one thing I ask of the Lord—the thing I seek most—is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord’s perfections and meditating in his Temple. 5 For he will conceal me there when troubles come; he will hide me in his sanctuary. He will place me out of reach on a high rock.6 Then I will hold my head high above my enemies who surround me. At his sanctuary I will offer sacrifices with shouts of joy, singing and praising the Lord with music.

The Lord is our secure hide place. He is watching over us and is offering a safe place for us. We need to find this secret place where we can go to hide away. Under the shadow of His wings, we can find the safety and security we need.
