Your Prison?
Jer 33:1 Verder het die woord van die HERE vir die tweede keer tot Jeremia gekom, terwyl hy nog opgesluit was in die voorhof van bewaking, en gesê:
Jer 33:1 While I was still in prison in the courtyard, the LORD’s message came to me again.
- The prison – Your struggle / situation /problem
- Prisoner – You
- A prison keeper – The impossible / The negative word against you.
- A great deliverer – God – Call on him
Jer 33:4 Kings of Judah have been torn down – A king in a certain area in your life that has been torn down.
Jer 33:10 So spreek die HERE: In hierdie plek waarvan julle sê: Dit is woes, sonder mens en sonder dier—in die stede van Juda en op die strate van Jerusalem wat verwoes is, sonder mens en sonder inwoner en sonder dier
Eze 37:11 Then he said to me, Son of man, these bones are all the children of Israel: and see, they are saying, Our bones have become dry our hope is gone, we are cut off completely.
‘n Plek Sonder Rus – Jer 33:12 So spreek die HERE van die leërskare: In hierdie plek wat woes is, sonder mens of dier, en in al die stede daarvan sal weer ‘n weiveld vir die herders wees wat troppe kleinvee laat lê en rus.
God is the deliverer
Jer 33:2 So spreek die HERE wat dit doen, die HERE wat dit formeer om dit te bevestig, HERE is sy Naam
Jer 33:2 Thus saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his name;
Maker – “the Doer of it:“ that is, He who is to perform that which He is now about to promise
Jer 33:14 The LORD said, “The time is coming when I will fulfil the promise that I made to the people of Israel and Judah. Jer 33:16 The people of Judah and of Jerusalem will be rescued and will live in safety. The city will be called ‘The LORD Our Salvation.’
Jer 33:17 I, the LORD, promise that there will always be a descendant of David to be king of Israel
Jesus a descendant of David is our King.
Jer 33:19 The LORD said to me, Jer 33:20 “I have made a covenant with the day and with the night, so that they always come at their proper times; and that covenant can never be broken.
Call to God
Jer 33:3 Roep My aan, en Ek sal jou antwoord en jou bekend maak groot en ondeurgrondelike dinge wat jy nie weet nie.
Jer 33:3 “Call to me, and I will answer you; I will tell you wonderful and marvelous things that you know nothing about.
Call to God
Jer 29:12 Then you will call to me. You will come and pray to me, and I will answer you.
Deu 4:7 “No other nation, no matter how great, has a god who is so near when they need him as the LORD our God is to us. He answers us whenever we call for help.
Psa 50:15 Call to me when trouble comes; I will save you, and you will praise me.”
Psa 145:18 Die HERE is naby almal wat Hom aanroep, almal wat Hom aanroep in waarheid.
Psa 145:19 Hy vervul die wens van die wat Hom vrees, en Hy hoor hul hulpgeroep en verlos hulle.
Doors will Open
Jer 33:6 But I will heal this city and its people and restore them to health. I will show them abundant peace and security.
Jer 33:7 I will make Judah and Israel prosperous, and I will rebuild them as they were before.
Doors open when we keep the word of God
Revelation 3:8 “I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.”
